My form videos are perfect. Why does nobody watch them?

Your form videos **aren't** losing to other trainers. They're losing to everything else on the feed. Most trainers who get skipped aren't bad coaches. They're handing strangers what I call The Unlabeled Protein Tub. So what does that mean?

It means the coaching in your video is great, but the first second tells a stranger nothing. Picture a trainer filming a tip in the gym mirror. He types 'three tips for lower back pain', hits post - and gets twelve views and no DMs. In the gym, your coaching sells itself. A member watches you fix somebody's squat, then walks over to ask about you.

Online, nobody gets to watch you coach first. A stranger gets one second of your reel. Above it, somebody's giving away a car. Below it, a dog is riding a skateboard. Their thumb **doesn't** stop for the best trainer. It stops for the best first second.

The people scrolling past you never find out your cues are the best in your gym. So it's **not** a coaching problem. It's a first-second problem. And you don't need 2 million views to sign clients. You need the **right** people to stop and know the video is for them.

So stop handing strangers The Unlabeled Protein Tub. You've already seen this in person. Walk into any supplement store and look at the protein shelf. One tub is plain white, with no label. The tub next to it says exactly who it's for and what it does.

The plain tub could hold the best protein in the store. Nobody finds out, because nobody picks it **up**. Your reel is that tub. Your coaching is the protein. Your cover, your first words and your caption are the label. Your coaching is why they stay. The label is why they **start**.

Now, if you're wondering whether you're the one handing strangers The Unlabeled Protein Tub - here's a quick test, so you know before you film another one. It takes a few minutes, so pause me here - or jot the steps in your notes app and run it tonight. It shows you where the clients are leaking out before anybody even taps.

Pull up your last 10 reels and turn the sound off. Next to each one, write down what a stranger sees in the first second. If most of them say 'me in the gym mirror,' you **don't** have a coaching problem. You have a label problem. Most trainers spend hours on the coaching and a few seconds on the label. So write your label **before** you film, not right before you hit post.

Write one plain line that tells them two things: this is for you, and this is what you get. Not 'three tips for lower back pain.' Something like: 'Back hurts every time you pick up your kid? Start here.' If a stranger can't tell what's inside with the sound off, rewrite it until they can.
