How many times a week do I need to post to get clients?

Going online is a marathon where you can't see the finish line yet - so stop sprinting. You see other people's success like a marathon on TV - the start and the finish, nothing in between.

So what does the sprint look like on a trainer's page? Three posts a day for two weeks. Then a 12-hour day. Then quiet. Then 'I'm back!' in March. That's The January Gym Rush - you've watched it from the front desk every year.

You know what your finish line is - that's your sentence. You just don't know if it's 1 mile away or 300, and usually you're running alone. Pick a pace you can keep for years, not a sprint you can keep for two weeks. This is the one I teased at the top - the thing most trainers do way too fast.

And it makes sense. You finally decide to go online, you're fired up, and the energy's got to go somewhere. So it goes into fourteen days. Here's what it looks like for a booked trainer with 28 clients and 55 hours a week. You film 10 videos on a Sunday, and you're a hero for a week.

Week two, a client cancels and you're filming at 9pm, half dead. Week three, nothing. Your page just told every stranger who found it that you quit. So pick the pace from your **worst** month, not your best week. If your worst month holds one video a week, that's the pace.

Book it like a client. Same slot, every week, and it doesn't get cancelled. And go back to your sentence from number one, because that's what carries you in month three when the posts bring nothing. If the sentence is 'grow my page', it won't hold. If it's '20 paying clients so I'm home for dinner', it holds.

Then say it out loud, with a date on it. '20 paying clients by March 31.' Post the count every week. A goal you can't quietly cancel is the one you keep. One a week feels slow. It is slow. It's also still running next year, and the sprinter isn't. Quick scoreboard, since I'm telling you to go public - I'll go public with mine.

I'm taking 3 trainers from zero online clients to their first paying online client in 90 days, for free, on camera, every week. If we miss, I say it on camera. Right now the count is zero of three - I haven't started, and I'm looking for the three right now. If you have an Instagram, that's enough, and the 90-day clock starts the day you're in.
